A few years back Rush Limbaugh wanted to buy a piece of the St. Louis Cardinal's football team of the NFL. There were howls of protest all across the land. How could someone so sleezy be a part of Americana, we heard. Feminist groups, their members who wouldn't know a football from a grapefruit, screamed that it would destroy the fabric of the country. Limbaugh bowed out gracefully.
Now, almost under the cover of darkness, we find out that the guy who throws out the words, 'Tw*t and Cu*t" to describe the likes of Sarah Palin has purchased a piece of the NY Mets baseball team. Yes, Bill Maher now owns a part of the $20 million for sale Mets. So far there is no response from NOW or Planned Parenthood. Ask the question: whom would you rather have as a next door neighbor, Limbaugh or Maher?
