Bob Beckel is a democratic operative and consultant. Among his great claims to fame is that he was the campaign manager for George McGovern in his presidential run. Maybe that's why he should be considered irrelevant. In addition, he is most noted for being fired from another job because he became involved with a prostitute while the campaign was in full bloom. His addictions are alcohol and, his drug of choice, cocaine, according to his bio. But who am I to cast aspersions? For conservatives, he is the Howard Cosell of the opposition. Three times in the last six months, once on the Hannity Show and twice more on The Five he has dropped the F bomb; an action that would get most people fired. I have a love/hate relationship with Beckel. I loathe him just because he's who he is. I love him because he is so clueless about policy that he makes me look like Einstein.
