The 'Screwed Generation'

Yes, I'm a member of the Baby Boomer generation. Born in 1946 I was one of the first of those babies born just after WWII. We were pampered and spoiled by our parents. As far as they were concerned we could do no wrong and they sacrificed everything to make sure we had all the advantages they didn't by growing up in the Great Depression. We're fairly disgusting, really. Entitlements are our way of life. Just by breathing we were owed a king's ransom. After us came Generation X. Their's was a short period beginning around 1970-85. There's not much to say about X'ers except that Paul Ryan is a member. Now we have another moniker for the future. It's called the 'screwed generation' and this is where it starts to get good. Young members of this classification are between 18-29. A lot of them aren't stupid and that's why they're flocking to Romney/Ryan. 46% of these kids are now supporters of the Republican. They realize their chances of receiving social security and medicare are practically nil unless some big changes are made. We Boomers thought we were so cool with our Beatles music. Suck it up, boys and girls. Our best days are past us.
