I made a trip to Kroger yesterday to get some prescription refills on meds. A couple of the pills I consume are for depression and anxiety. As far as I know they're placebo's because sometimes I feel good and sometimes I don't depending on the stock market or if I play a decent game of golf.
Anyway, I seen a number of television commercials lately explaining why I should switch to a firms magical anti-depressants. At the end of the commercials the narrator says about these magical beans, "May bring on suicidal thoughts" Being the Phy Ed Major that I am I thought, "Huh?" Suicidal thoughts for an anti-depressant.
I got ahold of the pharmacist at Kroger for her opinion on the commercial and she said, "In case there would be an after effect the companies need to be able to protect themselves. That's when I said, "Oh, they need to cover their asses". And she concurred.
Well, we've now in Ohio had three confirmed cases of the 'you know what' virus and our governor in his inimitable wisdom made an announcement:
"The State of Ohio is in a state of emergency" What? Oh, of course, it's the CYA excuse.
