A fellow classmate called the other evening to get information on a friend who has been having some health issues. Of course, because we're in our mid-70's, the conversation got around to the dreaded pandemic of 2020. She was asking about prevetions I've been taking and I responded with, "None". She was aghast.
For your consumption and I'll make it simple. More than half of the deaths attributed to the Coronavirus have occured in 5 states; California, Michigan, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and New York. All of these states, run by Democrats, had a program of sending COVID patients to nursing homes. Over 60,000 of the deaths were nursing home patients. Florida, with 2 million more in population than New York but with a Republican governor, is coming under tremendous scrutiny from the media for not having a lockdown. You know the kind; the one that allows 100,000 nincompoops to riot in the streets but puts Jewish rabbi's in jail for going to funerals for their own kind.
Florida is being chastized by the media because they aren't in lockdown. Florida has had 3,000 COVID deaths. New York under the leadership of the Great and Wonderful Oz leads the way with 24,000. And the citizens of New York give Andrew Cuomo a 75% approval rating in handling the Great Plague. Go figure but they are the ones who voted in AOC.
Folks, numbers are numbers are numbers. Stupid is stupider and stupidest.
