Thank God I'm not running for office. The key word in a persons life is vetting; finding out about embarrassing situations committed by the person in question. Oh, Lord Almighty! There are literally thousands who would willingly nail me to the cross; some for the pleasure of gossip and others to make a buck.
The good news is I don't run for anything except to the john.
Kamala Harris is going to be fodder for the right wing press. The Leftists have already canonized her even though she garnerd the average of 3% in her presidential run and dropped out last December.
In these times someone is going to consider a specific part of her background. Her dad, Donald Harris emigrated from Jamaica and took a job as a professor at Stanford University. Mr. Harris was also an avowed communist. Hmmm! I wonder if his thinking had any impact on his daughter. Not a problem though. Many Democrats are communists yet they thrive.
Donald Harris once penned a book. In it he described his family roots in Jamaica. He mentioned a direct ancestor, one Hamilton Brown. In the book it was detailed how Brown was one of the biggest slave owners in Jamaica.
If the script goes according to Hoyle not only will this not play for Harris in Topeka but also in Portland, Seattle and Chicago.
Oh, I forgot. She's a liberal Democrat. Never mind.
One sidenote. When Ms. Harris was elected to the Senate she demanded that her title be 'The first Indian American elected to the Senate. The media, with the approval of the Democrats, ran banner headlines yesterday saying she was the first African-American elected to the Senate. I don't get it unless there's an ulterior motive.
