I'm sure you're as disgusted as I about how the debates have been run. It isn't right that the moderators steal the show so I had an idea about how to make them better. Here goes.
Each candidate can ask fifteen questions of the other over the length of the debates. The person being questioned has two minutes to answer. The questioner gets a one minute rebuttal. The moderator has the opportunity to STFU over the entire even show. They hold a stop watch and at the end of the alloted time get to say, "Time up".
Once in awhile even I amaze myself.
