I've always thought of Rhode Island as being a rather idyllic state. Her Majesty and I once toured the state and it seemed, well, colonial and quaint. But that was before Tiara Mack was born. Times change and so do our perceptions of politicians. Ms. Mack is the incumbent in the state senate and she came up with a new angle to get the voters on her side. Forget that this 28 year old is the first openly gay black female to office.
I'm suspecting she's in for a tight race come this fall considering she has a new tactic to get elected. I have to be honest but I've never heard of twerking. Evidently, it's one of those fads, sort of like swallowing goldfish or running up to someone and yelling out, 23 skidoo*. I hope the voters like it because it's going to be all over the airwaves.
You can't see her gyrations in this still photo but if you logged on to TikTok her butt cheeks move quickly. Did I mention she's a Democrat?
