Abortion Was The Big Winner

The numbers are coming in on who voted and why. Single women overwhelmingly went for Democrats. No surprise here. Truth be told married men and woman along with single guys supported the Republicans in big numbers.

According to pollsters who really know diddlysquat the abortion issue was the big winner in New Hampshire, Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The numbers in New Hampshire say abortion was the top issue with 82% in agreement. In Pennsylvania it was 70%. Here's why I have to part ways with this thinking.

In recent posts I mentioned some questions about abortion and I wanted to reiterate my concerns as to why I believe abortion should be a bogus issue. Being good Catholic people The Queen and I practiced a time tested method called rhythm knowing full well her ovulation schedule. I know it sounds weird but it works. In order for it to be effective though it's necessary to be able to turn off and on the passion. 

Anyway, and I'm not an expert on the subject of birth control, aren't there such things as spermicides to kill those little rascals before they swim into the Valley of Love? I also think there's an invention called an IUD which seems to work. Do they still make condoms. I hear they work as long as there isn't a tear. And what about before and after pills to get rid of the evidence? 

It seems to me, and I might be wrong, the only method the abortion folks don't discuss is something called self-control.

In my devious mind, though, is it at all possible abortion is being touted by the providers to put hard cash in their coffers? Just askin'. Regardless, to me this abortion angle sounds like a huge cop out due to a lack of personal responsibility. In other words, abortionists need an excuse for irresponsible behaviour. I'll never forget what one of my high school coach's, Laurence Parr said about excuses. They only satisfy the ones who give them----------unless they want to make it a voting issue at the ballot box.
