Is it at all possible, if Republicans take over the Senate and House it will be the end of democracy in this country? That's what we're being told-------on television, in the newspapers and, finally, by Bill Maher.
Is democracy one of those words with multiple definitions. In the early part of the 20th century Vladmir Lenin told the Russian people if the communists didn't take over it would be the end of democracy in that country forever. The same can be said in Cuba and Venezuela.
Or, is it possible the democracy schtick is only one of those statements to appeal to the masses?
