Yesterday afternoon around 1 pm I happened to be in a coffee shop on the Ohio State University campus. As I gave my order I found myself looking at a person wearing a name tag reading: 'Skyler them/them'. He or she had short blond hair and was sporting a nose ring in it's left nostril.
I'm not up on the changes of today when it comes to language usage and wokeness so I asked it about the name tag. I sort of feigned ignorance(which wasn't difficult to do) on the subject and asked for an explanation as much as a 76 year old guy could do. In all truthfulness I still don't understand the pronoun thing. Actually, I don't care. Just thought I'd relate a personal experience and, yes, you can now go back to doing what's important in your life.
