 I've always been fascinated by government grants to universities especially those screaming "ridiculous". At Purdue University a licking machine was built to determine the number of licks it would take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Tootsie Pop.

Speaking of studies------a group of scientists in England are saying IT'S POSSIBLE Alzheimer's MIGHT come on by nose picking. These SCIENTISTS say germs on the end of your finger MIGHT bring on the onset of the dreaded Big A when finger is inserted. Which reminds me of that great saying we had as kids, "You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose but you can't pick your friend's nose-----------unless you want them to get Alzheimer's. A better alternative is shown below.
