Miss Universe Lays It On The Line

It was only another beauty contest--er-pageant. I'm talking about the recent Miss USA shindig. I couldn't tell you who won if you promised to pay off my housing mortgage. Men watch these things to listen to the final answers; the ones that let us know how intellectual these girls can be. You know what I mean. The answers that give us the 'solving world peace' ones have been going on since the inception of  Miss Universe. Of course I'm kidding. Men watch these things to see great looking babes with fabulous bodies and no brains. It's every guy's fantasy to be in the Cubby Bear bar across the street from Wrigley Field and have one of them ask for your phone number. I did say it was a fantasy.
Miss Pennsylvania resigned her commission yesterday. Is 'commission' the right word? Who cares? Her reasoning was that the five finalists had already been named before the contest began. She was also, and I like this answer best, is against transgendered boy-babes being let in. Check out her quotes, especially the one about Rachel Maddow. I like her style.

She has two main grievances. She says another contestant saw a list of finalists before the show started, and she is against transgender contestants.
"I think I’d be upset if I was in a male beauty contest and Rachel Maddow beat me out".
Sheena Monnin, the reigning Miss Pennsylvania USA, resigned from her post this week, publicly calling the Miss Universe Organization’s winner-selection process “fraudulent, lacking in morals, inconsistent and in many ways trashy.” She then wrote on Facebook that a fellow contestant saw a list revealing the top five Miss USA finalists before the show took place.
