Not a word out of the White House about the storming of the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944. It was the ultimate battle to destroy Hitler. Failure by the Allied Forces meant failure on all fronts. It was a blood bath for all sides and I doubt very few Americans over the age of thirty have never heard of it. D-Day: Eisenhower, Rommel, Nazis, thousands of Hollywood movies, and not a peep from our president. Maybe he's never heard about it. Considering he's been silent about it most likely he doesn't care. For those veteran's who are still alive that silence must be deafening.
