For this Iowa Hawkeye fan yesterday was one that will stay in my memory and that of Hawk fans everywhere as a day to remember. It was, for us, the thrill of victory. For Indiana fans, the agony of defeat and it took place at the Big Ten basketball tournament in Indianapolis.
Iowa's point guard, Jordan Bohannon, with 1.1 seconds left to play, threw up a 3 point shot from downtown Dublin, Ohio and banked it in for to secure the Hawkeye's comeback victory.
There's a television station in Waterloo, Iowa with the call letters of KWWL and they were on the spot as good news people are in bringing not only the glorious results but also in telecasting the post game interview with Mr. Bohannon.
I wonder if the trailer on the bottom of the screen was a practical joke or the person in charge wasn't proficient at spelling. Either way, it was good for a laugh.
