Ted Cruz Argued 9 Cases Before The Supreme Court

Before he was a U.S. senator or a candidate for president, Ted Cruz argued before the U.S. Supreme Court nine times, putting the Texas Republican in an exclusive club.
“Most lawyers in America will never argue in front of the Supreme Court, much less do it nine times,” said Paul Collins, director of legal studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Cruz’s most well-known case, involving convicted murderer José Medellín, reached the Supreme Court twice. Cruz ultimately won, allowing the state to execute Medellín despite an order from an international court and the urging of President George W. Bush to hold off so Medellín could receive a new hearing.
Medellin and his gang had murdered and raped two high school girls.

Pantsuit's Lies Belittle Blacks

Hillary Clinton is sweeping the Democratic primaries across the South by capturing nearly all the black vote — a staggering 86 percent in South Carolina. But she’s doing it with poisonous lies designed to stoke racial resentment.

Clinton routinely tells blacks they are the victims of “systemic racism” and scolds whites for not demonstrating more “humility.” She falsely claims discrimination is causing the higher poverty and incarceration rates among blacks.

There isn’t a shred of evidence to back up her claims — yet she gets a pass from the media.
Let’s separate facts from her racially inflammatory fictions.

On the campaign trail, she complains “race still plays a significant role in determining who gets ahead in America and who gets left behind,” noting black families have “just a tiny fraction” of the wealth of white families.

Yes, there’s a wealth gap. Hillary blames it on racism instead of confronting the self-destructive choices young blacks are encouraged to make by a welfare system that subsidizes girls having babies before they finish their education or marry.

A troubling 73 percent of black children are born to single mothers. That’s not a vestige of slavery, as some liberals argue. In 1950, before widespread welfare, the figure was only 18 percent. http://nypost.com/2016/03/01/hillary-clinton-is-winning-votes-with-vile-race-games/

Ted Cruz For President

Ted Cruz is a man of principle and character. Mr. Cruz is a constitutional scholar and has served as Solicitor General in the United States Supreme Court.

Ted Cruz, along with Sen. Mike Lee of Utah, are considered TEA Party Patriots and have received a 100% approval rating from the Conservative League.

The complaints I've heard about the senator are that he is hated in the Senate and House by the Establishment; that nothing can get done if he's in office.

I sort of thought the whole point of getting a conservative in office was to kick ass and take no prisoners. I thought conservatives wanted to bind up the shorts of McCain, Lindsey Graham and every other wussy type in Washington DC.

I want a president who inspires confidence, one who is presidential in word and action. I wish for my grandchildren to say, "I'm glad I was alive when he was president". What I don't want is a president who belittles, makes fun of and is the master of character assassination. http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/01/28/upshot/donald-trump-twitter-insults.html?_r=0
I don't want a president who refers to a woman as a 'fat pig', who mocks a person with a physical disability, who calls people losers, chokers and stupid along with a myriad of derogatory words.

It's important for me to admire the man in the Oval Office. Cruz came up the hard way. His family scraped for money and he took numerous jobs to earn a degree from Princeton then a law degree from Harvard. Nothing was handed to him. He is the quintessential Horatio Alger story; something from nothing.

It appears, at this time, Mr.Cruz may come up short in his quest for the highest office in the land. From my perspective this is sad and more than abominable.

Evidently, my views make me an Establishment supporting RINO because I cannot and will not support any boorish self-serving candidate who makes me cringe when I listen to him or her.

Trump: Backing Off On Immigration Plan

Donald Trump says parts of his immigration proposals are “negotiable,” but only minor details about his border wall.
In an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Monday night, Trump responded to a question about a recent claim, first introduced by BuzzFeed earlier in the day, that he told The New York Times editorial board in an off-the-record tape-recorded meeting that he may not follow through with his proposed immigration measures if he is elected president.
