A Wee Bit About In-Home Covid Test Kits
For months, there have been many people sounding the alarm over the at-home Covid-19 rapid test, saying that the kits include toxic substances that pose health risks – something that has been widely condemned by the establishment as a wild conspiracy theory.
Well, just like with most everything else these days, the difference between wild right wing conspiracy and fact simply comes down to a matter of time.

Yours truly missed out on Vietnam. For some reason and it was found out later my deferment was due to a health injury that wasn't there. I wasn't sad not to go. Many of my friends and classmates did. A 71-year-old Denver man is facing a felony charge after city officials say he made a pickleball court without permission. With prosecution on the table, some believe the punishment doesn't fit the crime.
Guney and others use a basketball court at Denver's Central Park Recreation Center for pickleball. Last Monday, the markings on the court had faded, so Guney re-marked them with a Sharpie. Three days later, an arrest warrant for felony criminal mischief was issued for Guney. The court document also claims ten thousand dollars in damages.

Everybody in the western hemisphere(and beyond) seems to have an opinion on last nights Oscar performance so allow me to do what everyone else is doing-----offering a comment without knowing what the hell I'm talking about.
When was the last time you saw a grown man, supposedly in anger, slap a guy? Girls slap. Boys use fists. Unless Smith swings the other way. After all, we're talking Hollywood where all the actors live. In lieu of this I suggest the word alcohol or worse might be in play.
I've seen better slaps in Bugs Bunny cartoons.
It's Almost Unthinkable
I am amazed at what modern medicine can do to bring some sort of normalcy to peoples lives. I'm thinking back to the 1950's and a story about a kid who had his arm re-attached. His name was Eddie Knowles** and his journey was front page news around the world. Today, though not a common place surgery it happens frequently.

I Think She Was Wrong
Dr. Cat Pausé, a Massey University(New Zealand) ‘fat studies’ lecturer, focused on the impacts of “fat stigma” and made it her life’s mission to spread ‘body positivity’ about being morbidly obese.
Dr. Pausé, 42, described herself in her Twitter bio: “Fatlicious. Feminist. Glorifying obesity since ’09. Tearing down white supremacy w/my fat fingers. Friend of Marilyn pod. Sociology, Public Health, Fat Studies”
She died in her sleep two nights ago. It was probably due to Covid.
Who Doesn't Like The Movie, Hoosiers
It has been selected as one of the great sports movies of all time. It is called 'Hoosiers' and is one of those classic David and Goliath stories. The beauty of the movie is, though Hollywood sometimes takes liberties with the truth, for the most part a true story.
The kid who made the winning basket, in real life, is named Bobby Plump. For as many times as I've been to Indianapolis I never visited his business, a bar named 'Plumps Last Shot'.

Gossip Makes The World Go Round
This is interesting gossip. It was Hunter who invested in biolabs in Ukraine. Russia didn't care for this so one of the big reasons(along with wanting to dominate the region) was an invasion.
- Hunter Biden was a partner in a company called Rosemont Seneca.
- Rosemont Seneca invested $500,000 in a pathogen research company called Metabiota. Hunter also helped raise millions more for the company through investors.
- Emails from his laptop show Hunter introduced Metabiota to his friends at Ukrainian gas company Burisma, which was paying Hunter $50 thousand per month as a “board member.”
- The money was used for a “science project” involving biolabs in Ukraine.
Now we know why Burisma was paying all that cheddar to Hunter: he was bringing them money for their biolabs. Watching College Basketball
Late March and early April are my favorite when it comes to sports watching. There's absolutely nothing better than teams earning a trip to the Final Four for this guy.
I watched St. Peter's take out Purdue last night. It's good to have a Cinderella team in the tournament. The Boilermakers of West Lafayette, Indiana were the last Big Ten team in in tourney. For supposedly being the best conference in the country; well, if you follow college basketball, it isn't.
What I don't like about sports in this day and age is the politicization of athletics. It's the reason I don't watch the NFL or NBA and Major League Baseball is moving down this path.
St. Peter's is a small school out of Jersey City, New Jersey and they're fun to watch BUT, they should leave social messages in the locker room.
If you watched any of their games you would notice the players wear warm-ups over their game clothes. On the front of each jersey are the words, 'Black Lives Matter'. On the back is the word Racism with an X through the word. Being that Her Majesty doesn't watch sports I was in my man cave when I noticed the wording. Since I was by myself I said out loud, "WTF!"
The roster for the St. Peter's Peacocks has 15 players. There is one white kid on the team and 14 Blacks. The head coach is a black man. You might understand why I was flabbergasted at the social message.
Then, being that I'm a smart ass, I thought it might be interesting is if the one white guy wore a shirt reading, 'White Lives Matter'. And on the back 'What Racism?
Folks, can't we just get back to playing the game? It's extremely difficult for me to understand racism in sports. Check out for yourselves the teams playing in the tourney. Each has a majority of Black players and then take it further and look at the rosters of teams from the Deep South; the supposed bastion of racism in America. Don't get me wrong. Basketball is a Black man's game. They're the best players, period. When I was coaching and had a choice between a kid who played like Magic Johnson or one who was white, 5'10" with with a flat top I think I'd go with the guy who could dunk from the free throw line and it wouldn't be Whitey. I always maintained the reason for the 3 point shot was to make sure the slow, short, white kid might still have a place in the game. In the final analysis if you want to know how the white population enjoys good Black basketball players ask yourself this question. Did basketball fans go to games to root for the Harlem Globetrotters of the Washington Generals? I rest my case.
Please, though, let's not glorify BLM until they can explain how $60 million dollars of donations has somehow disappeared. How the organizer of BLM, Patrice Cullors, is an avowed communist.
I've finished my rant. Charlie wants to go for a walk and we all know man's best friend waits for no one when it comes to their daily constitutional.

He's Trying To Get Us Into WWIII
When Biden speaks off the cuff one can always expect two things. He forget the names of people. Today he referred to the Sec. of Defense, Lloyd Austin, as his Sec. of State.
He'll also exaggerate aka lie. He told the members of the 82 Airborne and others in his audience in Poland he was a 36 year veteran of dealing in foreign affairs by stating, I've been to Iraq and Afghanistan forty times. Joe, it's not even close. It's more like 20, total.
But the worst words that came out of his pie hole were damned serious--------and stupid.

In the past 75 years I've seen society change a great deal and it's arguable if it's for the better. Heck, I can remember when a box of condoms were hidden in the back room of a drugstore and cigarettes were right up front. In this age the scenario is turned around.
I'll often be perusing the computer and ads shoe up and wording under a picture will ask, "Will you be ready when the time is right?" Of course, what their saying is, will you be able to sexually perform?. It's bothersome because these ads catch you attention with a photo something like this:
Gimme a break will you? Methuselah would get sexually excited about being with this babe and there's no way in the world at his 969 years would he need a little blue pill.
Pfizer cheats when they tell us about Viagra. I can understand it. It's always good to promote beautiful people whether it be with cars or vacations or even lusty looking women with the name of Venus.
It the pill manufacturers really wanted to get guys interested they be up front and honest by posing the a statement: "We're so sure our product will work it's a 100% guarantee" and instead of a Miss America in a photo they'd put someone like congressperson, Rosa DeLauro, in their promotion.

There are no words for the rage I feel towards subhumans. There is no comparable horror, pain, and agony I can contemplate as I imagine being in the place of the maimed and murdered Linda Frickey, a 73-tear-old white woman. She was tortured and killed by four vile black teenagers.

Today, people are tearing down statues of people who owned slaves a couple hundred years ago. Yet, they buy shoes and clothing made by slaves in foreign countries.
