A Word To The Wise From Someone Who Wasn't
Like most of us in the 'checkout generation' I'll reflect on my life as a youngster growing up in Central Iowa. Since my mother was a nurse at the local county hospital she was led to believe doctors could do no wrong and what they said could have easily been carved onto the Ten Commandments. It was the same with the nuns at Sacred Heart elementary. Whenever we heard the words 'Sister said' it became gospel. I remember one time when I was in the first grade I came home from school and told my parents Sister Calasanctus said, "God was a string bean." Well, my ears betrayed me because what she actually uttered was 'God is a Supreme Being" and beings as I was a twerp of six my vocabulary and understanding was severely limited.
Regardless, as we move along in life we're trained to believe whatever we're told by those who have at least six months more education than us. As an example, ten years ago I was visiting a neurologist who took a brain scan. He searched and searched and finally found a remnant of brain matter then took a photo and I awaited the results.
An hour or so later she told me I had onset dementia. She noticed a small blue line in front of my cerebrum and gave me the news. I guess this indicated something but, hey, she's the boss so I believed her. So, for ten years I daily took a pill named Donezepil.
I'm not a good sleeper. It takes me an hour and a day to fall into the land of slumber and when I do WW III breaks out in my mind. Folks, I dream things never before seen in horror movies. I'd be involved in murders. I'd slash people dead, shoot them as fast as I could load a revolver. Sometimes, I'd wake up in a panic. Sleeping was not fun.
Last year I had my semi-annual visit with my general practitioner and the subject of Donezepil was brought up when he matter of factly told me, "You know, Donezepil can give people terrible nightmares." Say what!
Know what? I blame myself for this nonsense. I believed my doctors the same way I trusted Sister Mary Calasanctus. I didn't read the directions and I never looked at the side effects. I stopped taking that little pill and within a week I was dreamless and it's stayed that way. I fall asleep then I awaken and my mind has no memory of any activity. Why, it's almost like I don't have a brain. Imagine that.
There's a long range lesson in this post. I'm sure you know what I'm referring to, right?

Yesterday, congress passed an emergency law to fund our government to keep it running. In this law there was an amendment to give Ukraine another $12.5 billion bringing total to $75 billion given to them. Part of the 12.5 billion goes into pensions for Ukranian government officials.
I wonder how much of the $75 billion we've given them to date is earmarked for corrupt practices. I wonder if there's such a thing a extortion money being asked by these people to keep Hunter and Joe's thievery under wraps.

Tonight, I thought my husband was acting weird.
We had made plans to meet at a nice restaurant for dinner.
I was shopping with my friends all day long, so I
thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit
late, but he made no comment on it.
Conversation wasn't flowing, so I suggested that we
go somewhere quiet so we could talk. He agreed, but
he didn't say much.
I asked him what was wrong; He said, ‘Nothing.'
I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset.
He said he wasn't upset, that it had nothing to do
with me, and not to worry about it.
On the way home, I told him that I loved him.
He smiled slightly, and kept driving. I can't
explain his behavior. I don't know why he didn't
say, 'I love you, too.'
When we got home, I felt as if I had lost him
completely, as if he wanted nothing to do with me
anymore. He just sat there quietly, and watched TV.
He continued to seem distant and absent.
Finally, with silence all around us, I decided to go
to bed. About 15 minutes later, he came to bed. But
I still felt that he was distracted, and his
thoughts were somewhere else. He fell asleep; I
cried. I don't know what to do. I'm almost sure that
his thoughts are with someone else.

Are People Really This Stupid
The word gullible comes to mind when there's a natural disaster. By this I mean people will believe whatever they're told by the government whether it's true or not. But, you know this because we've lived through the millions of lies about Covid.
There was a thug in the Clinton administration who best illustrated calamities. His name was Rahm Emmanuel and he later became the mayor of Chicago. He stated, "Never let a crisis go to waste." There's a crisis taking place in Florida with the hurricane now battering its western coast. A senator from Minnesota, Amy Klobuchar, illustrates the 'crisis' aspect brought forth my Emmanuel. She said that this hurricane illustrates the need for climate control. "Dear God, why is it our politicians are such dufuses or is it dufii?" If one looks at the history of our country and massive wind storms I sort of doubt they originated in the past thirty years when this climate nonsense began. You know this as well as I but politicians continue on with their blabbering regardless of how ridiculous it makes them appear.
Going along with this political speak to control the people I'm always reminded of what my brilliant but now deceased buddy told me. His name is Dr. Russ Bowermaster. He was an All-American football player with the Ohio State Buckeye football team on their national champion ball club of 1958. He was a friend of the rich and famous and also the infamous. One day he stated, "MJ, the first thought politicians have when they get out of bed in the morning and before their feet hit the floor is what can I do or say today to get re-elected."
Whenever I hear pols spouting off I'm always reminded of the words of Doc Bowermaster.
It Must Be About The Money And Other Stuff

When you read or hear about high school kids who win academic awards what's the first thing that comes to your mind? For me it's "Must be Asian." This is stereotyping but at least it's not negative. Anyway, a kid from Indiana, an Asian name of Felix Zhang, earned a perfect score in calculus and is the only person in the world to achieve this honor. The only knowledge of calculus is I can spell it. Other than that nada.
I came across a You Tube last night that piqued my interest mostly because I'd been to an event last year in which a man, born with no arms and no legs, was the guest speaker. He's led an incredible life and is the owner of his own business who credits the Good Lord with his success; oh and he also had amazing parents. Heap Big Trouble Ahead
The word 'Indian' and its use is being placed on the front burner again. There's now talk about how horrid it is that the Atlanta Braves have maintained their nickname. Around ten years ago I wrote a blog piece on Indians as mascots in our nations high schools. At the time there were around 410 schools with that particular moniker. I'm certain it's down somewhat now because so many superintendents of schools and their dorky school boards have fallen prey to the woke crowd.
Today I again started thinking about 'Indian' and associated words used to denigrate those of Native American heritage. If we're going to drop any names associated with these folks then we have to start over with our nations history.

What's This 8.3% Nonsense
Economists tell us the inflation rate since Biden took office is at 8.3%, maybe even 8.4%. Being a non-smart type guy when it comes to money and spending I can put my fingers around these numbers. As far as I can tell life's essentials have risen far more than the 8 number.
A year ago I went to a wedding in Stillwater, Minnesota. My cheesy motel room came in at $90 per night yet car rental was $100.00 daily. I was in such a state of shock when the car rental company gave me the price I signed the bill and it wasn't until two hours later the sticker shock hit me.
We, the people, have no recourse over this stuff. Those in power can blame the price increases on Putin and Trump if they wish. All I know is the day after a certain someone took office oil production began to be shut down and we all know petroleum rules the world.
Here's a slight history lesson for you. Do you know the primary reason for the Japanese attacking Pearl Harbor? Well, yes, those boys did want to dominate the Far East but the main reason for they're attacking Pearl was due to our interference into Far Eastern oil production.
What this 8.3% increase is, and I didn't make this up, the average American is spending $4,200 more in the time since Biden took office.

That's One Way To Solve A Problem
As a prelude to this story Columbus Ohio City officials have been congratulating themselves for bringing down the number of murders. Last year at this time Columbus had seen 151. This week the magic number was at 100. Way to go guys. "Gee whiz, maybe I'll start going to town again."
Anyway, there was another murder this week. It sort of reminded me of what the Wild West might have been like.
The guy pictured got into an argument with another fella over who should have a parking spot. Johnnie Wappner didn't like the way the conversation was going to he did what normal people would do in this day and age. He shot and killed the other guy. Were The Covid Restrictions A Test Run?
Wouldn't it be great to wake up every single day and have an original thought? I'm not one of those types. As you know I've been obsessed the past couple years with the Covid scandal. I could name off the top of my head five renowned doctors who have questioned what has been presented to us by the likes of Fauci and Birx yet these men and women were virtually ignored.
There was a report out yesterday in PJ Media suggesting the Covid mandates were just a trial run to see if the people could be controlled. Well, we know the answer to that one. So, what is this trial run, you might ask?
What if, and as the days fly bye what I'm about to write seems more than plausible, is it possible the Covid was just a trial run in preparation for government mandates coming down the pike regarding the climate?
Is it imaginable people will accept the rules presented by the World Economic Forum headed by the noted 'Wizard of Oz' type guy named Klaus Schwab? Can you imagine how your collective lives would change because of laws implemented in the name of climate as to what we, the people, can do, where we can go and how we live our lives? Think about it--------governments could demand how many times a day people can flush their toilets, water their flowers in backyards, go to church only on alternate days to eliminate emissions in the atmosphere. Every single aspect our lives would be controlled so that world governments could create their precious One World Order.
If you think I'm off the wall on this just remember: millions of people walked into restaurants during the Covid scare and as soon as they entered they could take off their masks. It has been revealed in the past couple of days Tony Fauci laughed at people who were so compliant when it came to mask wearing since in his own words these things were worthless. Businesses employing five people were forced to shut their doors but places like Walmart and Home Depot were allowed to stay open----and the populace willingly obeyed. Our government implemented its rules and our most vulnerable, the children, eagerly not only accepted kid control but allowed the government, via public schools
to change their lives forever. Children were forced to sit in schools wearing masks for two solid years. Who knows what mental damage was done to these kids; mental damage that will be extremely evident as the years go by.Good sakes gracious alive, it's an endless list of nonsensical rules forced on the people but these rules willingly obeyed. Climate control isn't about the atmosphere. In my humble opinion, one that isn't based on anything except common sense, people like to be told what to do and the world is well on its way to compliance.
Thank the Lord I'm well into the 'checkout generation'. I can only take orders from Her Majesty and I won't put have to put up with the mandates from the biggest idiot to ever occupy the Oval Office----if ya' know what I mean.

What Caused A Murder?
It's about the guy in North Dakota who ran down the kid and killed him dead. The dude admitted he did it on purpose because of 'disagreements about politics' in which he called the young man a Republican extremist. I sort of wonder why he was charged with vehicular homicide only. Wasn't this also a hate crime?
A bigger question is what in the world caused this murderer to go bonkers? What could the reason have been?

Last year 107,000 Americans died from drug overdoses. Of these, 70,000 died from fentanyl poisoning. 80% of these deaths were to young people between the ages of 18 and 44. Many of these murders were to moms and dads who have left their children to be raised in places other than their homes. Yet, nobody cares that our government could put a dent in the number of deaths with immediate legislation to stop funding to Mexico; the port of entry into the USA. I have written my congressman, Troy Balderson, a Republican, too many letters to count regarding this subject. And what has been his response. Well, the answer is moths and crickets. It's almost as if he's a clone of Helen Keller.
This fentanyl crisis is a war and the Chinese producers are winning without firing a shot.
I have one more item on my agenda. Did you know more people in the United States died of fentanyl just last year than all the men and women who died in the Vietnam War? And that's the truth.
