Another 'Strange' Clinton Death Coincidence

What a strange coincidence?
Former UN official John Ashe “accidentally” crushed his own throat and died a week before he was scheduled to testify against the Clintons and Democrat Party.

We can add this guy to the myriad of others in the Clinton past who have met their demise under mysterious circumstances.

One More Aspect About The Great State Of Iowa

Last September I drove my neighbor to our lake place in Minnesota. For me it's an extremely tedious trip unless one enjoys driving seventeen hours on interstates. On the way to Hackensack, Minnesota and my lake home, we drove through Illinois then across Wisconsin to the Twin Cities and north.

My buddy was an All-American football player under the legendary Woody Hayes on their 1958 National Champion football team. His suggestion was, since he had only been to Iowa City to play in one game and against the legendary Alex Karras, we drive the state of Iowa to Interstate 80 then across through the Quad-Cities crossing the east side over the Mississippi River into Illinois.

My friend, Doc, didn't say a whole lot on the trip home. I suspect it was because he, unbeknownst to the both of us, was nursing a broken neck from a fall at our lake place.

Regardless, since he played for Woody he's a tough nut and didn't complain one iota.

After we were home for a couple of weeks and he'd recovered from neck surgery he gave me his perceptions on the Hawkeye State.

His most significant observation: While driving on interstates he did not see one scrap of paper, one beer can, not one piece of garbage. In other words, he saw nothing to keep him from believing Iowa is nothing but beautiful.

I love Iowa. It's a lot more than corn and hogs.

Can You Guess Who These Animals Are

Pictured: The grinning ISIS terrorists who hacked 20 innocent victims including westerners

These animals are three inhumane pieces of scum who hacked to death with machetes 20 innocents in Bangladesh. It's not like the dead weren't given a fair chance to survive. If only they could recite passages from the Koran they would be spared.

Three of the dead were from Emory University in Georgia. That would be Georgia in the United States, not Russia.

But, we must listen to the recent words of Jeh Johnson, Dir. of Homeland Security: "We must have compassion and understanding of Muslims. We must build bridges".

Tell that to the 3,000 surviving members of those who died on 9/11.

What Happened To The 4th Of July

In two days we will have the factual celebration of the 240th anniversary of our nations independence. I'll always remember the 200th because our last child was born in 1976.

I might be wrong but as time goes by it seems to me that July 4th has become more of a reason to take a three day vacation by eating hot dogs and drinking beer than it is to recall the events and the men who made us the greatest nation on God's green earth.

My eldest grandchild, an eleven year old boy, visited us for four days this past week. He wasn't fully aware that I had a major major in American History but now he's getting the hang of it. A few months ago I gave he and his sister an actual newspaper from Concord, Massachusetts dated 1823. They thought that was very special and took it to their school to show their teachers and friends.

A few days ago I saw a video. A man was questioning adults about the why of July 4th. You've seen these goofs. These adults were clueless. Good Gawd! How embarrassing for them and former teachers like me. I feel like I wasted the best years of my life. Once again, I must remind you of Augie Blake, a history student of mine my first year of teaching in 1968. He stated, "Why study history? There ain't no future in it". I suspect he'd never heard of Neville Chamberlin.

Reverting back to my eleven year old grandson, I was taken with his knowledge of American History. We discussed Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, many of our Founding Father's and the result of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The most important fact is he knew of what he spoke.

When I was a teacher I always told my students that the men who founded this nation HAD to be put on this planet, this continent, at this time, because it was ordained by God. There has never been, in the history of mankind, a group of more brilliant men gathered together. The Declaration and the
Constitution were brought about by compromise and that, in itself, is worthy of extensive discussion.

Am I upset with those folks who are clueless about our nations history? Not a bit. When my grandson grows and matures he'll have knowledge beyond his years. As he progresses and begins having job interviews and opportunities for professional advancement he'll be nine steps ahead of the morons who laughed about not knowing the names of George Washington or Abraham Lincoln. In other words, he'll own the gas stations and these idiots will be pumping the fuel for him.

God bless American and God bless my children and teachers who are them about our countries true heroes.

Transgendered Now OK'D For Combat

The Dept. of Defense announced yesterday that transgendered were now available to serve in combat. I suspect this will give new meaning to the word 'fragging'.

Also, the backpacks of our fighting men have been updated to include one of Revlon's most popular products.

It's all part and parcel of the old saying, "We are about to fundamentally transform America".
