Not Exactly A Racist

This Should Disqualify Her From The Presidency

The FBI has released details of its July 2 interview with Hillary Clinton about her secret email server, revealing that she said she did not recall answers to a series of questions - some because of concussion. Agents noted that Clinton could not recall being trained to handle classified materials as secretary of state, and had no memory of anyone raising concerns about the sensitive information she received at her private address.

The Democratic presidential nominee also 'did not recall receiving any emails she thought should not be on an unclassified system,' the FBI's report declared. She did not recall all of the briefings she received on handling sensitive information as she made the transition from her post as secretary of state, due to a concussion she suffered in 2012. Hillary is pictured right leaving a New York hospital on January 2 2013.

"I don't recall" was a ploy used by Hillary during the Travelgate, Whitewater, Cattle futures and Vince Foster cover- ups. Hillary used her 'I can't remember' answer 41 times while answering FBI questions. Shame on James Comey and the FBI for letting Hillary skate. A pox on Hillary for being the most prolific liar in our nations history.

The Perfect Squelch For Donald Trump

As I left the parking lot of Highland Lakes golf course the radio was tuned to the Rush Limbaugh. Rush is on vacation and had a substitute host. The program format allows for callers and a guy called in with the best call I've heard in years.

We all know there are going to be three scheduled debates. Lester Holt of NBC will host the first. Martha Raddatz from ABC and Anderson Cooper of CNN moderating the second and Chris Wallace from Fox doing the third.

My suspicion is there aren't going to be too many Trump voters among the panel asking questions.

The Rush caller stated, "Everybody is going to try and back Trump into a corner. They'll bring up perceived past actions to make Trump look like an idiot. For example, Holt will say, "Do you regret calling Rosie O'Donnell a fat pig"? And this will be the strategy of all these liberal snobs.

Now for the good part. The caller said every time Trump is asked one of these idiot questions he should come back with, "At this point what difference does it make"?

Wouldn't this be classic. Trump would have everyone laughing wildly and he'd control the agenda from there on in.

Gosh, I wish I would have thought of this.

A Few Trillion Dollars Here, A Few Trillion Dollars There And Pretty Soon We're Talking Real Money

The national debt hit $19.5 trillion for the first time ever this week, a little more than seven months after it hit the $19 trillion mark. The debt clocked in at $19.51 trillion at the end of Wednesday, the Treasury Department reported Thursday afternoon. Precise debt figures on any given day are released on the following business day.

The national debt hit $19 trillion for the first time ever on Jan. 29.When President Obama took office in early 2009, the total debt was $10.63 trillion, which means it has almost doubled under his watch. The Congressional Budget Office reported.

Clinton's Used Taxpayer $$$ To Fund Clinton Foundation

Former President Bill Clinton’s aides used taxpayer funds to subsidize the Clinton Foundation, an associated business and the private email server Hillary Clinton used during her tenure as secretary of state, a new report claims.

According to Politico, the cash went toward purchasing IT equipment — including servers — at the Clinton Foundation and also supplementing the pay and benefits of several staffers who are now caught in the middle of the scandals involving Hillary Clinton’s private email and supposed pay-to-play tactics.

Why Would Anyone Write A Blog

A few minutes ago I finished cleaning the inside of the Ford Taurus. That is a story in itself because I do it about every six months. I've found petrified eggs and baby turtles in it. Anyway, while picking up peanuts from under the front seat, passenger side seat and back seats I started asking myself why I've continued to write for the past six years.

I do have a few consistent readers. My Storm Lake correspondent is a viewer as is my Wisconsin cousin. There's a listing of favorite readers but some have fallen by the wayside. Radu from Philadelphia is one. I wish I knew his whereabouts. He's sort of like where's Waldo.

At any rate,(my buddy in Oklahoma starts every statement with this intro) my enjoyment of trying to use different words is intriguing. Why, once in awhile I'll even pull out Roget's Thesaurus. I remember the first time I ever heard of the book. It was in Ruth Behren's 10th grade English class. I purchased it, took a look, then put it away. Heck, I thought it told a story and I only bought it wanted to be a suck up.

I write because it's cleansing making fun of myself at my own expense. It doesn't bother me that I've made a buffoon of myself more times than I want to remember. Let's talk about the time I drove our car through our garage door--the same day it was built. Whenever I have a contest with people about stupid things we've done I win hands down.

If there is one skill I'm proud of and my wife will verify this I am an excellent extemporaneous public speaker. As Walter Brennan in The Guns of Will Sonnet said, "No brag, just fact". My largest crowd was around 2,000. The most difficult speech was the day after 9/11. I'm happy to say I pulled it off without a hitch. If I can't give speeches verbally the next best substitute is the written word.

Public speaking came easy to me, most likely, because I got my career start as a high school teacher. I always told myself from the beginning, "Don't try to kid kids. They are smarter than you think". One other aspect of being an instructor that helped was I never taught at my desk. I always walked around the classroom. There's a reason for this. I drank coffee by the gallons. You can read into that what you desire.

Sometimes, when writing, I offer opinions but I do so in the hope the reader thinks about my thoughts. I don't want to start arguments. When it came to that I learned from the best---my dad. If a day went by and he didn't get into an argument it was a wasted day. I might also add he got his ass kicked more often than the world's worst boxer.

Trivia is fun to write about; little known facts that have absolutely nothing to do with anything. And I always start off with, "Did you know". If I'm aware the person I'm talking to is Mensa material then I'll say, "You probably already know this but did you know"

Writing a blog can be an ego trip but I tend to not get gassy about that. Two days ago my blog received 515 page views. My highest ever was 845 and that was three weeks ago. I'm not certain how this works because I don't even know what an app is nor how it works and, furthermore, I don't care.

Lastly, and possibly most important, I write blogs to pass the time while watching The Partridge Family, Leave It To Beaver and Father Knows Best on Me TV.

This 'N That From Dublin Ohio And Where The Heck Is Oconomowoc, Wisconsin

Here's an interesting thought. If Bill Clinton had a son he'd look like Anthony Weiner.

The Queen and I have come to an executive decision. We will be residing in our Minnesota lake home in '17 from May through September. If I can't stand it that long I'll have our carpenter construct gallows behind the garage.

My apologies to my dear cousin from Wisconsin for not writing the blog about Oconomowoc, his now residence located 30 miles west of Milwaukee off I-94 . It's a community of 15,000 and referred to as Newport R.I. West. For instance, the Pabst Brewing family built a mansion in the late 1800's rivalling anything the Vanderbilt's did. In addition, the Miller family among others also built homes there. There are, in the town, five beautiful lakes with prices ranging from 'we can't afford it' to 'don't even think about it'.

The best aspect of Oconomowoc is pronouncing the name. It is the quintessential Wisconsin name, Indian of course. Here's the deal. Start of with a long o sound. Then the con has a short o. The next o is long. The mo is long and, finally, woc has a short vowel.

Folks from outside the state, let's say Alabamians, would take twenty minutes to do the pronunciation. If you're a native cheese head it's said faster than uttering the word "Huh".

I loved seeing my cousin and his sister who drove down from Cedarburg. I don't have many relatives outside of my immediate family for good reason. They're all dead.

Here's something for you snowbirds to think about. We used to winter in Destin, Florida. It's called the 'Redneck Riviera'. Prices are cheaper than in the southern part of the state due to the rascally sometimes cold and rain. Even so, one can secure a beachfront condo for around $1,200 monthly.

We were in Portugal two years ago and loved it. South of Lisbon is an area called Algarve. The winter temps average around sixty F. I've been checking around for winter locales and we could fly to the Algarve, find a nice beach front condo for less cash than we can in Destin.

Dublin has opened a new round about. It's a mess. On average folks seem to be averaging on accident per day at this particular intersection. I don't know why. There must be twenty others in the City. FYI The first round about's were built in Portugal and that was before the invention of the car. (I'm jesting about the car).

Not one word today about the political situation. I'm regaining my sanity.
