What Biased MSM
A CBS Radio News report on the video of four young Chicago people torturing a mentally disabled man falsely implied that the victim was black and his attackers were white, when in fact the opposite was true.
In the brief Thursday morning report– which attracted attention when a listener posted the clip on Reddit Friday– here’s how CBS characterized the attack:
MediateThe viral video of a beating and knife attack in Chicago suggests the assault had racial overtones. CBS’s Dean Reynolds tells us the victim is described as a mentally-challenged teenager. In the video he is choked and repeatedly called the n-word. His clothes are slashed and he is terrorized with a knife. His alleged captors repeatedly reference DonaldTrump . Police are holding four people in connection with the attack. [Emphasis added]
We Missed The Cadillac Ranch

Do you think 'cold' when the word Texas pops into your mind? It doesn't mine, either. But, here we are, the Queen and I, in beautiful Amarillo, Texas hibernating inside a Fairfield Inn looking at icicles adorning our Suburu. The temperatures might rise above 5 F by the team we hit the road but don't make book on it.
In perusing the internet this morning looking for sites to visit in the Panhandle community of over 100,000 I came across ten. The one that caught my eye was called 'The Cadillac Ranch' as shown in the picture above.
Evidently, it's a graveyard for Cadillacs with their nose ends pointed toward the heavens.
The long story short is we decided to pass. If you've seen one graveyard you've seen them all.
Next stop, Gallup New Mexico. My fervent wish upon arrival is I hope someone asks me to take a poll.

FBI Was Aware Of This Guy Months Ago

I'm beginning to wonder the competency of the CIA and FBI. These organizations were aware of Santiago in November and did nothing; no fly lists, no background checks, no nothing.
Blame It On The Ruskies
(CNSNews.com) - Barack Obama's presidency began with a record number of Americans not in the labor force, and it's ending the same way.
The finaljobs report of the Obama presidency, released Friday, shows that the number of Americans not in the labor force has increased by 14,573,000 (18.09 percent) since January 2009, when Obama took office, continuing a long-term trend that began well before Obama was sworn in.
The final
In December, according to the Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics, a record 95,102,000 Americans were not in the labor force, 47,000 more than in November; and the labor force participation rate was 62.7 percent, a tenth of a point higher than in November.
Happy Trails
The Midwest is taking much longer to escape than was anticipated. Yes, we're slowly and surely making our way to Arizona but, baby, it ain't easy.
We left Olathe, Kansas yesterday amidst snow and temperatures hovering around the 0 mark. A three hour trip south to Miami, Oklahoma; same deal.
Today, it's off to Amarillo, Texas. One would anticipate balmy temps. Not so, cowboys and cowgirls. It's going to be six degrees with flurries.
Yesterday was one of those classic fun days most folks don't have the opportunity to realize. We consumed breakfast with two men who win our wedding and their wives. We laughed uncontrollably for two hours.
Then it was on to Oklahoma where we spent the evening and night with my college roommate and his wire.
Life doesn't get any better than yesterday's experience.
