One of CNN's weirdo reporters interviewed former FBI head James Comey a few days ago. And people wonder why this this network is a mindboggling bastion of imbecility.
The reporter, Christiane Amanpour, asked Comey why Trump supporters weren't arrested at his rallies for shouting, "Lock her up". Comey had to remind her that we do have freedom of speech in this country. I guess Amanpour was still thinking she was back in her father's native Iran.
And where was Christiane when Leftists were on the street shouting, " “f*ck the police, pigs in a blanket fry ‘em like bacon, Trump’s a nazi, kill all MAGA’s”?

Our America Today
Family life is disintegrating before our very eyes. Less than 5% of children were born out of wedlock in 1960 and now, cutting across all ethnicities, it is near 40%.

Could The Dem Socialists Do This?
- The number of Americans filing applications for unemployment benefits dropped to a more than 49-year low last week.
- The data pointed to sustained labor market strength despite slowing economic growth.
- Initial claims for state unemployment benefits dropped to 202,000 for the week ended March 30, the lowest level since early December 1969, the Labor Department said.

Biting Off Your Nose To Spite Your Face
Senate Democrats blocked a $13.5 billion Republican disaster aid bill, contending it lacks enough aid for Puerto Rico, leaving the Senate without an immediate path forward to provide relief for areas hit by recent Midwest floods, Hurricanes Florence and Michael, and California wildfires.
What, No Guacamole?
There were at least four members of the MSM, Fox included, bemoaning the fact that if Trump shut down the border our source of avacados would be destroyed. OMG! What will be do.
I was at my Kansas son's last Saturday and they had friends over. The visiting husband raved about his guacamole. I begged off. Why would I eat a food that looks like my dog left it in the back yard on his early morning walk? I've never eaten the glop. If nuclear weapons destroyed our food supply and all we had left to consume was green crap I'd pass. Cockroaches or guacamole? Hmmm! Cockroaches in in a landslide.
So, I could care less if 80% of our avacado supply comes from Mexico. But, here's something you might not know or have forgotten. A number of years ago the State of California passed a law to protect the snail fish, a three inch worthless piece of nothing that does nothing and produces nothing. You see, it populated the waters of the farm growing areas of California, the areas where avacado's were grown and sent to market. These veggies provided over 70% of the crop for sale in the U.S.
Dumb state, yes. Stupid food, moreso.

Thank The Lord For What You Have
I'm home from my Oklahoma fishing trip. It did not go as planned. As a matter of fact it was a bust, an uncontrollable bust.
A gentleman from Omaha, a long time friend of my long time buddy and college roomie met in Miami, Oklahoma for three days of fishing in in that state and also in Arkansas. It didn't work out and out long awaited fishing trip had to be canceled.
We did some fishing the first night. The next morning the Omaha man had some pain in his right arm and could not make a fist so it was off to the hospital. Tests were taken and the gentleman had suffered a slight stroke. Fortunately, he received prompt treatment and is recovering.
That afternoon I started driving back to Ohio but there were positives to my ill-fated trip.
I was able to visit for two days with my son's family in Olathe, Kansas. I saw my buddy from Miami who I had not seen in two years along with his more than lovely wife. I did meet and commune with his high school friend who is a bona fide gentleman.
Is the glass half full or half empty?
