Things I'm Good At

I liked this post. The Queen has been at our lake place for a month and every single one of the six applies to me except I could add on about fifteen others. Thank God for microwaves. They are a godsend.

Go Hawks

MJ feels badly for those who have never visited the Hawkeye state. It is, in itself, unique both geographically(folks, regardless of what you've heard it is not flat land) and personally with many beautiful and wonderful citizens.

Iowa football is ranked #5 in the country(probably overrated) and tonight play the Univ. of Maryland.

Go Hawkeyes

Joe And Ice Cream

In the mornings I spend time listening to the Glenn Beck Show on radio. This morning he had as a guest a doctor of some kind and the subject of Joey and ice cream came up. Folks, what I'm about to write does not come from the Babylon Bee. Initially, I scoffed but after some research there seems to be credence to what the good doctor said.

He told us there is a direct correlation between people with Alzheimer's?Dementia with their penchant for eating ice cream. It has something to do with the ingrediants in the frozen treat and how it impacts on the brain.

Isn't this interesting?

Pork Spending

The $3.5 trillion dollar boongoogle is on hold. Don't worry, though. These grifters will get something passed.

I get a kick out of what's called pork these cons put in their bills. For instance, did you know there was a provision to provide free tuition to 2-year colleges for illegal immigrants? No, it's true.

Also added in was a gift to journalists, writers and other liars in the media.

There’s one piece of the $3.5 trillion spending bill that the media is unlikely to tell you about—their bailout.

The massive, bloated $3.5 billion spending bill has so much pork that fiscal hawks could eat it for weeks. One piece that hasn’t received much attention yet is a special journalism “tax credit” equal to 50% of the salary of each journalist—up to $50,000 per journalist annually.

Yes, that’s correct, your tax dollars would be paying 50% of the salary of many journalists, whether you like their reporting or not.  https://www.dailysignal.com/2021/09/22/the-media-hides-a-secret-in-the-3-5-trillion-bill/?utm_source=TDS_Email&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Top5&mkt_tok=ODI0LU1IVC0zMDQAAAF_22bvbZ0EQKlK3Qiv7sdZukXpGJ8naGjkGKt5queGYFjROthdwsHekQ-rAUHVywGvGwFYYw_sIThE7YTeu27wec33-0GQqrnKyaVNL3qkeOt-Rw
