Nothing To See Here------Move Along

That Has To Hurt

I received this photo from my buddy in Miami, Oklahoma and thought to myself, "I wonder what the story is on this" so I went to a search engine to find out more info. Guess what? There were at least a half dozen stories from different situations on the same subject. Lorena Bobbitt had a bigger impact that she thought.

I've come to the conclusion this stuff is a massive plot by women's organizations to destroy mankind as we know it. After all, it was the husband of one of our government officials who two days ago decried masculine toxicity.

Sort Of Scary When You Think About It

I was emailing a buddy in Oklahoma this morning. It's important to mention I initiated the contact at 6 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. And why this early emailing you might ask? Well, I'm not a sleepologist by any stretch but in the past ten years I've noticed my sleep patterns have changed tremendously. For instance, I went through a period last year when I would go to La-La Land around 3 in the morning and then awaken at 9 or 10. I didn't like this but it is what it is.

Lately, though, I now nod off around midnight and am up around 5 or 6 and the pitiful part is I don't nap during the day. I've come to the conclusion it's all due to old age brought on by a lack of strenuous exercise. Let's face it. I'm OLD! And not only am I old I'm also realistic about ageing. I've slowed down and because of this I want to enjoy what little time I have left. Would you care to know who hasn't slowed down? If you answered 'yes' then I'll tell you. It's the politicians in Washington D.C.

Take a look at this guy.

His name is Chuck Grassley. He's a senator from Iowa and a few weeks ago turned 89. Why hasn't he retired spending his golden years with his family travelling the world?

I began my teaching/coaching career in 1968 in a smallish farm community called New Hartford High School in Iowa. I taught American Government to a group of seniors. One of my students was named Neil Grassley and that then young 17 year old kid was the son of then a member of the House of Representatives, Chuck Grassley. Just what is it about politicians that makes them think and believe the can perform their duties proficiently kicking in the door on age 100? As an example of this I attended a men's club meeting for the first time last night and as soon as I sat down I looked to my left and noticed a certain gentleman. I said to myself, "That guy looks familiar. I wonder where I met him before." After five minutes it hit me. I used play golf with the fella ONLY SIX YEARS AGO and did so once a week for a year. And now at age 77 I could barely remember the dude and the good aspect of this is my lack of memory didn't involve declaring war on other nations or determining our laws.

There are quite a few of these yahoos who are controlling our lives who, mostly likely, couldn't function during the day without making sure they had Depends on their person.

If you read the news regularly you'll know that Sen. Dianne Feinstein is also 89 years old. The word on the street is she's suffering dementia. It's a rumor but a solid one and if this is the case why the heck is she still working if you want to call what pols do work? In my mind it sort of makes me think these people aren't all that special or necessary.

I've included in this piece a list of the 10 eldest senators. One of them is Ed Markey from Massachusetts. I remember when he first ran for the House of Representatives which was around the time cave men discovered fire. He made a promise that if elected he would serve only two terms and then return to private life. Sort of makes one wonder what these guys are all about-----their motives, I mean. Don't be silly. I know their motives. They begin and end with power and money. https://www.oldest.org/politics/members-of-us-senate/

My Kind Of Diet

Over the course of the years I've gained and lost more weight than the total owned by Fatty Arbuckle. One thing I detested about life in general is forced exercise. I've never been one to join a class. All my exercise is of the unconscious type. And now I find out there's another out there who thinks like me.

A weight loss coach has lifted the lid on the four things that people should do to lose weight quickly and keep it off, saying the key is to reduce stress in the body.

Jared McDonald, 36, from Idaho, is the founder of The Metabolism Reboot, a company that helps clients reset their metabolisms and overhaul their eating habits to promote sustainable weight loss

He recently went viral on TikTok after sharing why he tells people to stop exercising and focus on their health, not weight loss, if they want to drop pounds.  https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-11814313/Weight-loss-coach-shares-four-tips-quickly-dropping-pounds.html

He Looks Like A Perv

If I had to come up with a photo showing what a pervert looked like this guy would be the winner. He's got big problems, though, since he's the Mayor of College Park, Maryland. This is kind of a big deal since the city is home to a major university.

The mayor of College Park, Maryland, Patrick Wojahn, was arrested Thursday on 56 child pornography possession and distribution charges.

In regard to this story I was thinking about how the media can manipulate the news. For instance, I saw the folllowing in a morning report.

According to the WashingtonBlade, Wojhan was mentored by Pete Buttigieg. The article was written in 2019 and goes into depth about the relationship the two political figures had.

This is too bad because some people might get the wrong idea. Know what I mean?

The 47-year gay Democrat faces 40 counts of possession of exploitative child material and 16 counts of distribution of exploitative child material, a press release from the Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) saidhttps://www.breitbart.com/crime/2023/03/02/democrat-maryland-mayor-arrested-56-child-porn-related-charges/

A Feel Good Story

All It Takes Is One

Six years ago I got fed up with this blog and announced I was putting it to bed, permanently. I published a noted picture called 'The End Of The Trail' showing an American Indian on his horse with head bowed. I got the idea for using this photo from my grandfather who had the picture hanging in his home. I was determined to not blog anymore then out of the blue a follower from the D.C. area sent me an email asking that I resume writing.

I received a phone call this morning from a dear friend and an avid follower of my blog. He jokingly suggested I refund his money due to the fact I've been on hiatus. I've given new thought to resuming writing because all it takes is one to rev my engine.

Quite frankly I've lost my desire to inform and insult my readers. The loss of my dear Charlie three weeks ago yesterday brought this on. How the loss of a pet pooch can cause seemingly normal humans to fall into such a funk is beyond my scope of thinking but the emotions both Her Majesty and I have gone through is beyond my comprehension. One would have to have lost their best friend to understand.

I probably will continue the blog but there has to be changes made. I've decided I'll continue to insert political memes but I will not include article reprints from the news and I'm ceasing my political commentary. There's nothing I can do about the demise of this once great country due to the boobs in power-------on both sides of the aisle, so why waste my time?.

I will, however, concentrate more on personal human interest stories. It seems to me I've experienced more than my share of situations in life that would cause head scratching along with out and out laughter.

Thanks to all who wondered where I've gone without publishing. I've been in mourning. Until I resume enjoy yourselves.
