The Virginia Beach Shootings

For most Americans, I'm sure, the shootings of this week in Virginia was devastating. I waited and waited for information on the shooter. Two days went by and from the MSM nothing. In exasperation I emailed the Council Bluffs Cowboy and told him my inclination was the shooter was either Muslim or Black. Right on, MJ Hawkeye.

Even this Sunday there was no mention of the guy's ethnicity. Hmmm! Why is this?

The Cowboy got back to me and said I must be clairvoyant. I responded with, "Not clairvoyant; just using common sense".

The Cowboy's take was he wasn't a member of the NRA, wasn't a Trump supporter. He wasn't a registered Republican. He wasn't a White Supremacist. He did have a concealed carry permit-----and on and on and on.

My suggestion is if one looks at all mass shooters, white and black or whatever, they come from Democrat backgrounds. You can check it but I know it to be true.

As you might suspect Minnesota representative Muslim loon, Ilhan Omar, blamed the shootings on the NRA. These boobs transcend all craziness.

Impeachment? I Say Go For It

I snagged this article from Fox News. There's a great deal of merit to it.

First, swing voters will conclude the Democrats are conducting a highly partisan exercise.

Second, impeachment talk will largely or completely obscure anything else House Democrats will do legislatively. Voters could decide the Democrats are a do-nothing bunch.

Third, impeachment will play a much larger role in the Democratic presidential primary. The issue of impeachment will obscure the other messages of the Democratic presidential hopefuls and raise the prospect of a backlash against candidates like former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, who have yet to embrace impeachment.

Fourth, the Republican Senate will quickly dismiss any impeachment resolution passed by the House, killing the issue.

And finally, any of the dozens of vulnerable House Democrats in Republican-leaning districts who back impeachment will have given their GOP opponents a big issue.

The Rocket Man Opens This Week

A new movie is on the horizon and opens this week. It's called Rocket Man and details the life of Elton John. If you didn't know Mr. John is flaming as in gay. It never bother me. I have six of his CD's. Want to know why? He makes great music. I even got into Crocodile Rock back in the early 70's.

As is usual the Social Justice Warriors are on the rampage. The man playing Elton in the movie is a straight actor. To say these clowns are up in arms is an understatement. Elton John was asked his response to a straight guy playing his role. His answer for these people was to tell them to stuff it.

I always thought it interesting that Rush Limbaugh is considered a homophobe by the loony left. A little know fact is that Limbaugh asked Mr. John to perform at his wedding and it happened.

I love it when good things happen.

Hillary Clinton, who used a private email server as secretary of state, will speak at a cyber defense summit later in 2019, it was announced Thursday.

FireEye, a cybersecurity company based in California, announced Clinton will give the keynote speech at its annual summit in Washington, D.C., in October.
