What Is It With Educators Today

It seems as though every day there are stories about absolute nonsense going on in our public schools. As a former high school teacher and even at the age of 77 I cringe at what is being taught by so-called teachers.

There's a story out of Eugene, Oregon about one such dude who had students write about their sexual fantasies. Why? What's the point? Are these people absolutely clueless? If this was an isolated case I could understand it but this garbage, thanks to the internet, is happening all across the country. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11867119/Oregon-high-school-sparks-fury-asking-students-write-x-rated-sexual-fantasy.html

Democrats Must Hate This Country

As you look at the map of the U.S. you'll where the Mexican cartels have gained a foothold in the country. Folks, fear for our children. Trump was right, again, when he wanted a wall built. Yesterday, there was a meeting of congressmen who met in Texas to discuss this situation. Not a single Democrat showed up. https://www.businessinsider.com/cartel-operatives-criticize-dea-map-of-cartel-influence-in-us-2021-4

They've Put A Spell On Us

This little ditty was received from a friend in Georgia. He's probably on target in his thinking.

'The Earth has roughly 510 million square miles of surface.

The United States has about 3 million of those square miles.

Is the U.S. going to be able to slash its wrists enough to make any real difference for the fictional Green Dream, let alone achieve it with China’s huge numbers of older coal-fired plants, not to mention the 400 new ones going on line just this year.

Seems to me, only a few are drinking this Jim Jones Kool Aid, and now it’s being mandated by the government.

Today, word leaked out of the White House that not only are washing machines now being scrutinized, presumably by us returning to beating clothes on rocks, implying that they are as evil as gas furnaces, ovens, stoves, and cook tops*.  ( Don’t be surprised if demonstrations break out saying that would be cruelty to rocks ).

*It was divulged today that the government is adamant in their plan to get rid of 96% of gas stoves. Because of backlash this legislation was put on hold but its now full speed ahead.

On Monday of this week it was announced by Honda American they are moving their operation out of Marysville Ohio, the largest Honda plant in the country. Since 1981 these people have made the Honda Accord. Well, they're not actually getting rid of the Accord. It's being moved to a plant in Indiana. From now on the Marysville operation will make EV's!

It's About Money

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s decision Tuesday to allow infants and children 6 months through age 4 to get Pfizer’s bivalent booster shot drew harsh criticism from pediatricians and others who said children don’t need any COVID-19 vaccines, let alone four doses. https://childrenshealthdefense.org/defender/fda-approves-fourth-covid-shot-infants-kids/?utm_source=salsa&eType=EmailBlastContent&eId=f367ac9a-c9da-474b-9127-ffcda34d4b59

In A Nutshell

Depending on with whom you speak or listen to-----------------

What we’re dealing with respect to the bank situation is a product of massive inflation and then the Fed acting to ratchet up interest rates, causing the very problem that we’re seeing right now. This is all a product of failed policies. This inflation is being driven up in significant part by the assault on American oil and gas by the Biden administration. And now, the Biden administration wants to throw out crumbs with a bit of production…the banking crisis is a result of massive spending and the regulations by climate fetish agenda that this administration is promoting to the radical left.

Or, if you don't like this then blame it on Trump.

Never Rush Things

There was an announcement out of the Vatican on Monday that caused me to raise an eyebrow and it came from Pope Francis and dealt with priest celibacy.

He said the temporary ban on celibacy is being re-visited. Folks, the temporary ban began 1,000 years ago. That's a long time to be in the gander pen.

Considering the lack of priests these days I would not in the least be shocked to see this rule rescinded. I did read a story about a married Protestant minister with children who converted to Catholicism and was allowed to receive the sacrament of Holy Orders. In other words, he's now a priest. Never thought of this before.

Who Could Not Love This

Bear with me for awhile dog lovers. Things will get better. I've perused all my favorite news cycles for stories of interest and there aren't any. Care to know what there is, though? In our kitchen is a large pot filled with dark and hot Italian roast coffee.

I've gotten out of the habit of watching 60 Minutes but last Sunday they ran a story on dogs genes and how man's best friend has evolved from wolves into creatures that offer undying love. I'm sure you've heard the story about locking your dog in the trunk of your car for two hours then letting it out. They'll be 1000% happy to see you. Then, try that with your wife and see if you get the same result.
