From The Mouths Of Babes
My wife and I drove an hour west of Dublin to visit with our three grandchildren and gaze at the youngest, now a month old. Our precious Kingston turns four in three days and I was curious as to what he might like for his birthday so I asked him what he wanted. He gave me a vague answer about presents. I asked if I should get him something at Target and he answered in the affirmative. I then asked, "How about a candy bar"? He thought a toy might be better and he then reminded me again when he said, "You can't buy birthday presents at the checkout line". Just as I suspected. Candy bars for birthdays are no-no's.
