Newly Discovered Letter Shows Hitler's Only Nephew Begged FDR To Let Him Fight Nazis

The only nephew of Adolf Hitler joined the U.S. Navy in 1944 after imploring then President Franklin D. Roosevelt to allow him to help fight the "devilish and pagan" Nazi regime led by his uncle, a newly discovered letter reveals....

Clinton's Vatican Ambassador, 5 More Back Romney

Former U.S. ambassadors to the Vatican — including Boston's former Democratic Mayor Ray Flynn — have banded together in support of Republican challenger Mitt Romney as they try to push religious freedom to the center of the presidential debate.

This 'N That

Did you hear about the latest polling in Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania showing Obama kicking Romney's butt? Don't worry about it. Florida and Ohio showed Romney being defeated by six points and and by eleven in Pennsylvania. The polling came from CBS and Quinnipiac. Are you aware that the poll was skewed in that DemocRats had a nine point edge in the sample? Isn't that always the way. In addition, it included registered voters, not likely voters; a huge difference. Take, for example, Pennsylvaina. In the election of 2010 they overwhelmingly voted into office state reps who were republicans and a senator. Are you trying to tell me this message has been lost in such a short amount of time.

As I drove past Dayton last night I had the radio turned to WHIO. There was an interesting fella on named, Andy Dean. He's syndicated but had an fascinating monologue about guns. Quiz yourself: 17,000 Americans died last year from guns. Do you know how this occurred? Would you say in the city of Chicago because of gang violence? How about in the commission of a robbery, shooting by a jealous husband? Nope. It was in suicides. So, if a man is going to shoot himself and there are no guns around does this mean 17,000 lives will be saved? I know I've blogged on this next subject in the past but let's give it another go. If liberals are so eager to get involved in the lives of people why not go after the ultimate killing target in this country. They should come out against killing machines called 'moving vehicles'. There will be 47,000 Americans killed in vehicular traffic accidents this year. I say let's ban anything that moves. Let's go back to the days of covered wagons and train locomotives that move at a pace of 20 mph.
Digest this for a moment: Every year in this country the population of my community, Dublin, Ohio is eradicated. Tell that to your liberal friends and listen to their response. I'm surprised some dimwit (D) congressman hasn't already introduced some kind of stupid legislation to stop this massive slaughter. Don't worry, though, it'll happen down the road----unless they're in bed with the auto lobbyists.

I never cease to be amazed at the power and sympathy shown the LGBT crowd. Of the 330 million people in the US they make up less than 2%. That's somewhere around 5 million souls yet legislation is passed to let them control the agenda for the entire population. Obama told us a few years ago that we're not a christian nation, anymore. He mentioned that we're a Muslim nation, too. Oh yeah, there are less than two million Muslims in America. So, we have to kowtow to these folks like they are in the majority. Give the law abiding ones the respect that is due them but, really, are they a part of our mainstream? Nope. The only problem I see with a Muslim takeover is our, Caucasian, birth rate is less than two and theirs is a gazillion due to a gestation period of twenty-eight days.

It's good to be back in Ohio. Home is where the heart is and even though I'm an Iowa boy through and through, my bedroom mattress isn't in Boone, Iowa. BTW, if you've never been to Iowa and have heard it's only flat land with nothing there you'd be totally wrong. Driving on I-80 through my State you'll see rolling hills of corn and soybeans. It's a peaceful setting worth the drive.

LOL

I didn't know what LOL meant until six months ago. That's because I don't twitter. It's my contention that LOL is the perfect use of three letters for what occurred yesterday. After leaving my fraternity golf outing in Naperville, Illinois I passed a Chick-fil-A. The lot was jammed. August 1 had been established as the day when everyone should show their support for this fine restaurant following the horrid words of some of the DemocRat pronouncements that the company would not be able to build in their cities. You know this already but it's another example of how liberals want to control our thoughts. I had previously given credit to Michelle Malkin for the idea but it was actually former Arkansas governor, Mike Huckabee. Anyway, I walked into the building and the line to order was long; very long. I asked a gentleman in front of me the wait time and he said probably a half hour. I knew the protest had been a success and they really didn't need my support so I jumped in my car for the trip back to Ohio.As I approached Dublin, O. I was listening to radio station WTVN out of Columbus. They had a taped interview of one of our citizens. He had waited in line an hour and a half to purchase a chicken sandwich. LOL!
This Chick-fil-A joke from the left reminded me of what happened when the TV show, Married with Children, came on the air in 1987. You remember Al Bundy and his dysfunctional family. At the time the show was considered to be obscene and not fit for television. A housewife in Michigan decided to start a protest campaign to get the show off the air. What she did was bring attention to the show and all she did was create one of the most successful and long running television shows in the history of that media. It's the same thing with Chick-fil-A. People who had never heard of the restaurant came down in droves to show their support telling our citizens that (1) free speech will not be denied and (2) it's okay to show family values. The restaurant, most likely, had the highest selling day of any fast food establishment in our nation's history. Hah! LOL.

Bill Clinton Can Top This

(CNN) - It's still a mystery why President Barack Obama was holding a baseball bat during his telephone conversation with Turkey's prime minister earlier this week. An official White House photo shows the president with the bat in one hand and a phone in the other.

What's the big deal about this? Bill Clinton did something similar in the Oval Office except he was holding a cigar.

The Final Leg

It's travel day. Home, finally, to beautiful Dublin, Ohio. Tomorrow, and this is a promise, I'll rev up the blogging page--or not. I do want you to get ready for Friday. For the first time in 50 years I will be attending a State Fair. I'm anticiipating a boat load full of stories.
