This 'N That

Did you hear about the latest polling in Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania showing Obama kicking Romney's butt? Don't worry about it. Florida and Ohio showed Romney being defeated by six points and and by eleven in Pennsylvania. The polling came from CBS and Quinnipiac. Are you aware that the poll was skewed in that DemocRats had a nine point edge in the sample? Isn't that always the way. In addition, it included registered voters, not likely voters; a huge difference. Take, for example, Pennsylvaina. In the election of 2010 they overwhelmingly voted into office state reps who were republicans and a senator. Are you trying to tell me this message has been lost in such a short amount of time.

As I drove past Dayton last night I had the radio turned to WHIO. There was an interesting fella on named, Andy Dean. He's syndicated but had an fascinating monologue about guns. Quiz yourself: 17,000 Americans died last year from guns. Do you know how this occurred? Would you say in the city of Chicago because of gang violence? How about in the commission of a robbery, shooting by a jealous husband? Nope. It was in suicides. So, if a man is going to shoot himself and there are no guns around does this mean 17,000 lives will be saved? I know I've blogged on this next subject in the past but let's give it another go. If liberals are so eager to get involved in the lives of people why not go after the ultimate killing target in this country. They should come out against killing machines called 'moving vehicles'. There will be 47,000 Americans killed in vehicular traffic accidents this year. I say let's ban anything that moves. Let's go back to the days of covered wagons and train locomotives that move at a pace of 20 mph.
Digest this for a moment: Every year in this country the population of my community, Dublin, Ohio is eradicated. Tell that to your liberal friends and listen to their response. I'm surprised some dimwit (D) congressman hasn't already introduced some kind of stupid legislation to stop this massive slaughter. Don't worry, though, it'll happen down the road----unless they're in bed with the auto lobbyists.

I never cease to be amazed at the power and sympathy shown the LGBT crowd. Of the 330 million people in the US they make up less than 2%. That's somewhere around 5 million souls yet legislation is passed to let them control the agenda for the entire population. Obama told us a few years ago that we're not a christian nation, anymore. He mentioned that we're a Muslim nation, too. Oh yeah, there are less than two million Muslims in America. So, we have to kowtow to these folks like they are in the majority. Give the law abiding ones the respect that is due them but, really, are they a part of our mainstream? Nope. The only problem I see with a Muslim takeover is our, Caucasian, birth rate is less than two and theirs is a gazillion due to a gestation period of twenty-eight days.

It's good to be back in Ohio. Home is where the heart is and even though I'm an Iowa boy through and through, my bedroom mattress isn't in Boone, Iowa. BTW, if you've never been to Iowa and have heard it's only flat land with nothing there you'd be totally wrong. Driving on I-80 through my State you'll see rolling hills of corn and soybeans. It's a peaceful setting worth the drive.
