Dead People In Illinos

There's an old joke about dead people in Illinois.

Question: Why were bars removed from Illinois cemeteries?

Answer: To give the dead easy access to get to the polls.

It seems this works for Medicare payments too.

An audit by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services’ Office of Inspector General, or OIG, found Illinois spent $4.6 million on Medicaid coverage for dead people.
From October 2015 to September 2017, Illinois made 84 insurance payments for 80 deceased individuals that the state did not recover, according to OIG’s audit

She's Fortunate They Let Her Stay Anonymous---For Awhile

A female high school teacher at Cutherburton H.S. in Union County South Carolina made a rather stupid comment in front of her students. She stated Vice-President Pence should be shot in the head.

Well, like a leaking pipe spreading water she'll be anonymous for a teensy weensy bit.

I think she can count on a visit from the Secret Service. Since it's a public school she might receive a 3 day in-house suspension with pay.

All in all, though, I still don't understand why these people, most always Lefties, do these things.

Maybe it's in the water.

How Can Trump Be A Racist

Throughout the Democrat presidential  debate Thursday night, the candidates were positively entertaining in their quest to out-pander each other (can we say Yang?) - on health care, of course, but especially on race, then guns.  The agreed-upon talking point since the day he was elected has been that "Trump is a racist" even though for the first seventy-one years of his life, no one had ever, even once, suggested such a thing.

Trump had long been friends with nearly all high-profile African-Americans from all walks of life in New York.  He has helped countless African-American individuals, schools, and charitable organizations.  The man has never demonstrated an iota of racism or even race consciousness.  But as we all know by now, the truth is not a left-wing value as Dennis Prager often reminds.  They don't like Trump, so any slur, any fabricated indictment of his character is A-OK, a sanctioned furtherance of the agenda to transform America into their dystopian utopia.
White supremacy? Sounds like a plan.  Let's go with it.

Poor Beto. He Doesn't Get It

Maybe because it makes me feel better about myself but I get a kick out of checking the net worth of presidential candidates and what they give to charities.

I recall when Al Gore was running with Bill Clinton he gave $389.00. Gimme a break.

For some reason the first of this years candidates I looked up was Robert Francis 'Beto' O'Rourke. I don't know why. Maybe it's because he personifies the symbol of the Democrat Party.

Beto boy married into a family that are billionaires. His net worth is around $4 million. Their earned salary(he and is wife) in '17 was $366,000. So far so good. Would you care to guesstimate how much he gave to charity in '17? Well, it came to $1,766.00. I'm not all that good at math but I believe it computes out to 0.03% of his income. According to O'Rourke he gives his time doing government service which more than suffices for monetary giving. Yeah, right.

The strange aspect of all this is, even though the Dems hound Trump about releasing his tax returns, there are a number of them who haven't gotten around to it; Cory 'Spartacus' Booker for one.

And so it goes.
