Definition Of Demagogue: Does It Ring A Bell

    1. a political leader who seeks support by appealing to popular desires and prejudices rather than by using rational argument.
    2. A person who gains the support of the public by making impassioned speeches that appeal to their emotions and prejudices.
    3. a political leader who tries to get support by making false claims and promises and using arguments based on emotion rather than reason.
Are you getting my drift or, in order to get your attention. do I need to stuff cheery bombs up your nostrils and count to five?

Do you fall in the category of citizens who have been taken in by the demagogues in the world?

A couple thousand years ago there was a young fella who was a source of amazement and wonder. Many of the citizens of his country didn't know what to make of his presence. After a time elders in some of the communities feared he was going to take away their power. After all he did cite the possibility of a revolution but not of this earth. Anyway, these people who were the political leaders became demagogues to their own people and they succeeded in winning over hearts and minds. Their admonitions became so prominent in the land that their followers, acting like mind numbed robots screamed "Crucify Him, crucify Him". And they did. After the deed was done chaos rang throughout the land.
