A lock of Abraham Lincoln's hair us going up for sale at auction. I'd think this would be valuable. I mean this is the the who saved the nation. That's heady stuff. But no, the lock of hair is expected to bring a measly $75,000. That's a pittance in comparison with sports guys.
A signed Babe Ruth baseball goes for $1,095. That's good but not as much as a Honus Wagner baseball card valued at over $2 million. I wish I had saved all the Mickey Mantle rookie cards I puchased(with gum inside the packet). Got $1.1 million lying around? Then you, too, can have the Mick's card.
I feel sorry for Old Abe. I bet Booth's bullet would go for more.
