"Riddle Me This, Batman"

A friend and I went to brunch this morning at a mall in Dublin. It's a wonderful little place with friendly waitresses and the food came within five minutes. But, now that I think of it it's not that great because I can't recall the name of the place.

Anyway, as with most all businesses during this so-called pandemic when humans enter an establishment we are required to wear a mask. Right?

Being a good robot I put on my mask but when we enter we can take off the mask. I don't mean within a half hour but immediately. It's like when we opened the door and walked through we'd gone through a magical portal.

I asked our waitress about this and she had no answer. She said, "I just do what they tell me to do." I've heard that one before.

This mask and take it off immediately goes for every food establishment. I'd have to think it wouldn't be this way at Home Depot or Lowe's. I mean, in those places you could sneeze on a garden hoe but sneezing on food or someone's beer seems a little different.

So, you out there. Why is it as soon as we enter a food establishment we can take off the mask? Or, could there be another reason.

I think I'll email Gov. Mike DeWine. Problem solved.
