Brian Williams, now of MSNBC, lost his Nightly News gig due to his embellishments of stories. Did you know he landed on the moon with Neil Armstrong? That he was in a jet when Kosovo was bombed. That he met Adolf Hitler? Of course, this is rediculous but his embellishments of stories and his exploits are legendary. It's why he was relegated to being a news flunky.
I only bring this up because CNN is in the same league. Watch the videos of reporters in New Orleans as they, putting their lives at risk on the streets of the City, report the story of mayhem. Prepare to laugh.
