Officer Troy Morris was gunned down by three young men in Mississippi. What a pity. There have already been arrests and these fellows are as listed:
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation said in a news release Saturday that Treyon Washington, 24, Cdarrius Norman, 17, and Damion Whittley, 25, have all been charged in connection with the trooper's death.
Now, you can call me a racist if you desire but I've been around long enough to connect names with race. Cdarrius is a giveaway. So is the last name of Washington.
So, is this a crime against the police or a hate crime? Or, is it just a crime of stupidity.
Given the chance I'd like to know the backgrounds of these young men. Did they graduate high school? Do they come from two parent homes? Do they attend church on a regular basis? Do they have previous records of law breaking?
My educated guess is the first four are No's and the last one a big Yes.
This is not an isolated case. Our nation, to coin an old Indian term, is in heap big trouble.
