More Thoughts On Papa Johns

Before we begin, class, yank out a sheet of paper and a pen and write as we go along. I'd love it if some liberal could comment on this post instead of my preaching to the choir. There has to be a counter view, I believe, but it escapes me. As an example, remember that libbies feel instead of thinking. This evening I was visiting at our church with the head of the Catholic Youth Ministry. It's a wonderful organization called Gospel Road where high school kids donate their time to help out needy people. In the course of our conversation I wondered about this lady's outlook on the election from a Catholic point of view, especially since the Obama's want to destroy freedom of religion with their anti-life program. I was shocked to hear that of the 19 staff members, all women, all Catholic, in the parish center only this one woman would not vote for Obama in the upcoming election. It's lucky for these jackassettes I'm not the head priest in the church. I'd fire each and every one of them---four years ago when they did the same thing.
This brings me to the pencil/paper part of the program which does deal with healthcare. A few days ago I wrote about the Papa Johns CEO telling us that with ObamaCare the price of a pizza would go up between 11 and 14 cents. Many of you might say, "So what, I hate Papa Johns". This was when my mind began fluttering. Every town has a supermarket of varying sizes. Their store shelves are stocked with literally thousands of different brands of food. Each of these suppliers employs hundreds, maybe thousands of workers. These companies will have to raise their prices to meet the decree set forth by our Communist-in-Chief. Companies need profits to exist and the shareholders aren't going to stand for a even sum game. Pennies here and pennies there and pretty soon we're talking real money. Aside from food I then wrote down a list of other products I consume and/or purchase for my own personal use: clothes, socks, hats, slacks, suits, etc.
Because in an earlier life I worked my butt off I can afford to do certain things others can't. We frequently go out to eat at some of the nicer restaurants. You can rest assured your meal price on the menu is going to rise. Since I can get by on a meatloaf sandwich we'll stay home. One thing I do is tip big. It's my opinion that waitresses and waiters deserve to be compensated for a job well done. I tip big when I go to Bob Evans. These ladies work just as hard as those at Ruths Crist but a 'dollar to a donut' restaurant attendance will be down and so will the tippers. I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings to the 'do your fair share crowd' but a lot of us are doing it already. Going to a golf store or a Bass Pro shop is to me what spending a day at Ralph Lauren would be for women. If I say I'm only going in to look around you can be damned sure I'll end up purchasing the latest, greatest fishing lure or rod and reel. If I pay $5.95 for a Rapala lure after the implementation of this abominable piece of legislation it means the lure will jump up another 10 cents. If I know things get more expensive I tend to stay away from merchants. Why do you think I now hawk golf balls instead of buying them? The list on these add ons to your wallet is endless. the only way to get around the problem is to steal. For Libs this should come easy. They've been doing it their entire lives thanks to our entitlement system.
Conservatives, you already have the picture on this. I know you can come up with a list that makes mine look like a Dick and Jane story. Liberals, It's going to be difficult for you but is it really fun to be clueless your entire life? Hey Nimwits, you're going to be paying a lot more for things and your benefits will be negligible with ObamCare.
As I wrote earlier, someone, anyone, please tell me the benefits of a program that divides the country(religious freedom), employs death panels, doesn't let you have the doctor you've know and  trusted for years, sends the IRS out to hound you and still raises your health care costs.
When I think about what lies down the road I laugh so hard I cry tears of pain and sorrow.
