Papa Murphy
The word might be finally getting around but Papa Murphy makes darn good Pizza. Being a semi-expert on pizza I give it my seal of approval. If you don't have one in your community then go to their web site, contact whomever, then tell them to build one. There are standard pizzas but you can build your own and, for the most parts, add ons don't cost extra. It's the size of the pie, not the extras that determine the price. For example, Papa Murphy's is to pizza what Subway is to the sandwich. The best thing about PM is the down home atmosphere. Why, it's almost like going into your kitchen and have your mom cooking your favorite food; just for you. Another great thing, and I haven't tried this out is but I have the feeling if I said, "Gosh, I only have two dollars but I'd very much like to buy the family style pizza". Then the owner would come back with, "Oh, that's okay. We'll go ahead and do it for you". One day a week they have what's called one cent day. Papa Murphy makes the very best chocolate chip cookie dough ever and on a certain day you can buy their dough for a penny For one cent to can make a dozen large style chocolate chippies. Believe me when I say it's a struggle to make the ten minute drive to my place without eating the dough before it hits the oven. It's that good. I should know. I've done it many times. Tonight I purchased the 'Cowboy' pizza; bought the family size for $14 and demolished half of it which came to six slices. It was loaded with sausage, peperoni, black olives, a number of cheeses and other stuff I don't know about but it was scrumptious. I'm not getting paid for this. It's my ongoing quest to give you the very best in food opinion. No one is as qualified as I.
