The 2014 Masters golf champion is Bubba Watson but you already knew that. Mr. Watson is a crowd favorite. He grew up humble and has stayed that way. As an emotional man he'll openly cry when he wins a tournament. It is a given that he thanks God for his achievements. I suspect those are grounds for the Freedom From Religion hierarchy to hang him in effigy. Bubba is a simple man with simple needs. On Neil Cavuto's television show on Fox last Monday Cavuto interviewed a woman, a Ms. Katherine Talmadge, I believe. She is a self-proclaimed member of the detestable food police. Since she sells nutrition books I figure she was looking for free advertising. She openly chastised Watson and his wife for celebrating his victory at the Waffle House. Watson, who doesn't drink alcohol, chowed down on a toasted cheese sandwich and french fries, his very favorite meal. Talmadge gave him the 'what for' by setting a poor nutritional example for our children. So, it's Bubba's fault that a 200 lb. fifth grader is sucking down a bag of M&M's and guzzling a 32 oz. Pepsi. Sadly, Talmadge believed her little screed and Cavuto, as much as he tried, couldn't shame her into lightening up. I about barfed. There's a huge news flash for this broccoli and carrot queen. At the conclusion of his meal Watson tipped the waitress $148 large. Dollar to a donut(I didn't make that up)someone from the media will give him more grief for not giving the waitress a bigger slice of his newly won pie.
Sometimes these people, the chronic complainers, should be sent to their rooms.
