In the world of college sports the college world series is a big deal. But, this piece is more than being about baseball. It's how the elite decide what is right and what is wrong without using their brains.
Case in point. North Carolina St. Univ. was to play Vanderbilt for a ticket to the World Series. But, four NC State players tested positive for Covid. Instead of making those players ineligible the entire team was deemed to be out of the tourney.
Here's the kicker. All four players who tested positive had received the mandatory two vaccinations.
