Do you remember Ronald Reagan? I sure do and I'll use the national debt as a starting point with his administration. Reagan was castigated because during his administration our debt was one trillion dollars. That's chicken feed compared to what presidents have done since. We spend money the way alcoholics drink; non-stop.
Joe was in Puerto Rico promising money for that country due to a hurricane that Trump refused to fund because he found out the cash they wanted was going into the pockets of the already well heeled.
People, today, October 6 our national debt has grown to thirty-one trillion dollars and there's no stop sign in sight.
