Do People Who Do Stupid Things Qualify For Health Care Coverage?

I've a friend who is an ER doctor. He doesn't talk much about what he's seen over the years but since most of his working hours took place at night time I bet he's seen and heard some doozies. Actually, he only told me one story and it's unrepeatable for this blog except it involved a man, his girlfriend and the man's wife. The wife needed to be called to the hospital to give her okay for some needed---uh--ah--uh, surgery. Nuff said.
I was thinking about 'free health care' and began wondering why there wouldn't be consequences for getting hurt doing really stupid things. For example, let's say four goobers are sitting around a campfire drinking 100 proof moonshine. One of them has the bright idea to play some Russian roulette and proceeds to shoot himself in the shoulder. Does he qualify for ObamaCare? It doesn't seem right that taxes pay for moronic behavior.
The reason this post came to mind because there's a story out of Atlanta that ran this morning. A 30 year old woman has bulemia. She wants to prove that she has no gag reflex so she stuck a butter knife down her throat and it 'accidently' slipped out of her hand and down the gulllet. Well, the surgery was successful. Thank goodness for that. Who pays for this? Why should I pay for her stupidity?
I'm sure there's nothing that can be done to put the onus of payment on her just as--------------the bill wasn't put on her tab four years ago when she did the same thing. That time she had the mandatory psychiatric evaluation. My solution is to never let her eat butter.
