The Loser Party already has a number of candidates vying for the highest office in the land. They come in all stripes and varieties. To the naked eye some of the clowns don't stand a chance so why would they go through the process?
It's really an easy answer. For example, in the last election I very much wanted then governor, Scott Walker, the governor of Wisconsin to win the nomination. I felt he was of impeccable character and did wonderful things for the people of Wisconsin in bringing down taxes and cleaning up the State.
So, I wrote a check of $20 to the Scott Walker for President fund, put it in an envelope, stamped and plopped it in the mail. Two days later Scotty boy dropped out of the race. What happened to my money. Stupid would figure it would be returned. Not so. It stays with Walker to be used as he pleased.
If her ran for governor again, which he did, it could be spent on organization. If he wanted to take a trip to Switzerland for a little post election fun then he could use my money for a Swiss latte'.
These candidates on the other side of sanity will receive hundreds of thousands or our cash for their own personal gain.
And that's how it works.
