If It's 90 Degrees It Must Be Dublin Ohio

The Queen is at our Minnesota lake place until October 1. It's good she can get away and why our marriage has lasted going onto 53 years. When I was working she'd spend the summer there and I'd go up for a couple of weeks. It's a seventeed hour shot. In the old days I could do it non-stop. Today it takes three days depending on whom I can bunk it for a night.

The worst aspect of it being in the 90's today is I have to make sure I get Her Majesty's flowers and plants watered. I've known some husbands who were de-nutted for less. I've been around long enough to know summer always throws out couple late day hot ones. It's its last hurrah.

Gavin Newsom will win the recall election in California. Yesterday, voters went into the polls to pull the lever but many were told they'd already voted. Hey, it's how Slow Joe got elected.

Did you know in the past 18 months 420 kids under 18 have died of Covid? That's 0.001% and this includes those who died of associated causes; cancer, leukemia, etc. I wonder how many teens died as a result of gun shot wounds, car accidents, falling off ladders and jagging around? Just think how many in the categories above had been vaccinated or wore masks they might be alive as I write.

I've been a good boy when it comes to my ideas on Covid, Anthony Fauci and the experts on MSNBC. There are only two people I email anymore. One being the Council Bluffs Cowboy and the other the North Carolina Flash. I enjoy his input because he's a former college prof in psychology unlike the Physical Education major like me. He's next to brillliant but in the big scheme of things I can dribble a basketball better than he. So there!

It'd be interesting to find out the viewership of CBS, NBC and ABC on prime time. Words cannot express the crappola they put out.

There were 60 shot and 7 who died from gunshot wounds in Chicago over the week-end. Same poop, different day. Is there a reason the media doesn't promote this more? Calling Lester Holt!

The State Department tells us there are 'only' 100 Americans left in Afghanistan. "Do you believe it, Mortimer Snerd?"

I'm a crummy doggy daddy today. Charlie and I went to the dog store. I don't feel much like going outside(the heat-remember?). Well, I bought him a bone chock full of chicken meat and beef. It's a foot long and 6 inches in circumference. Enjoy my little friend.
