"You Ain't Seen Nuthin' Yet"

"It was the best of times. It was the worst of times." I would imagine every generation could say this about their own. When Charles Dickens penned the quote it was the mid-1800's. The world of that period was in turmoil. Tell me a generation that doesn't think theirs was going to hell and I'll show you someone who hasn't read history. I wonder what future generations will say. Oh yeah, they won't because everything has been destroyed.

Culture sometimes fascinates me. In this country we'll see fashion changes every so often but when it comes to fashion it's a repeat from earlier years. Today's supposed icons, some of them, should be left in the dust bin. As an example, the wonderful Madonna attended a fashion show the other night.

We've all heard the phrase, "Act your age". This person is 63 years of age and she attended a gathering wearing an SS uniform. Okay, if you're a guy look across the table at your wife. Would you take the old doll out in public wearing this garb? Would she even consider it?

I scrolled down my favorite news sites this morning and this is the best I could on which to comment.

Someone once said, "If you think things can't get any worse you're wrong. Give it a week or two". By the we'll think Madonna is wearing a Raggedy Ann costume.
