What you're looking at is the Ambassador Bridge spanning the Detroit River from that city to Windsor Ontario. I can't tell you the number of times I on this mammoth structure in the twenty years as a salesman. I also have many stories to share regarding contacts with customs officials on both sides. Someday I'll get started--------if you have a couple hours to spare.
Suffice it to say 25% of the goods going in and out of Canada do so on a daily basis
It's lucky for CNN nobody watches that station because what one of their contributors made a statement so ridiculous even she had to send an apology.
The contributor in question goes by the name of Juliette Kayyem and she is an egghead; an asst professor at Harvard and former Deputy Sec. of Homeland Security under Barack Hussein Obama.
Kayvem was asked by some nitwit CNN dufus her take on the massive amount of trucks on the Ambassador Bridge. He response was precious.
She stated the governments of both country's should, while the trucks are stopped, slash their tires, remove all their tires then move the 25,000 pound trucks.
The moral of the story is never, ever send your child to Harvard.
I did notice she wasn't wearing a wedding ring. There's probably a reason.
