An Alabama man was arrested for littering after placing flowers on the grave of his fiancée, whose father is apparently behind the charges.
Winchester Hagans, of Auburn, is facing charges of criminal littering for the hand-built flower box he put next to the grave of his would-be wife, Hannah Leigh Ford.
“I just want to be able to put flowers by my fiancée’s grave,” the grieving man told local ABC affiliate WTVM.
Ford, 27, died in a car crash in January 2021 just a month after Hagans asked her for her hand in marriage.
