Iowa kids are tough. Iowa high school football kids are tougher than nails on a horses hoof. It's Thursday October 22 and the final game of the season looms for the Buffalo Center frosh football team. COVID has messed up the entire season so why let a little snow bother these 14 year olds?
I know this is on the up and up because my Iowa buddy is an official and he worked the game. I don't know if the refreshment stand was open but I wouldn't count on it.
I think the game ended in a draw. The boys were happy. One of them was heard saying as he left the field, "Let's play another quarter. I don't want to do the milking when I get home."
