Charlie and I made a trip to Costco this afternoon. The radio was tuned to 610 am. Each and every Friday they have a guest on to talk about sports. His name is Demetrius Jackson and he is a former Ohio State Buckeye football player and he is Black.
At the beginning of the show the subject of the Indianapolis shooting came up. Every person in American on down to 8 year old children is familiar with it by now.
The shooting took place at the Indianapolis airport at the Fed Ex building but to date not a word has been mentioned about those murdered or who did the shooting. Jackson said, "Since the authorities about the shooter I'm going to go out on a limb and say he wasn't a Caucasian." Demetrius can get away with this. Yours truly couldn't. I'd have branded a racist of the highest order.
