We here in Franklin County Ohio are gearing up for the massive Cicada invasion. It will begin sometime between now and the end of May. These critters have been underground for the last 17 years and their appearance will bring noises in the air one will not forget. The decibel levels can reach 100.
What a pitiful existence these creatures lead. After their presence they immediately mate. The male dies. The female lays her eggs and it dies and the cycle starts all over again.
Too bad God doesn't do this with humans------in some instances.
