Down though American history we've been blessed with magnificent humorists two of whom were Mark Twain and Will Rogers. Rogers was so good with his witty repartee he could bring congressman to their knees with his insults and they'd give him a standing ovation.
I'm blessed to have a friend, The Council Bluffs Cowboy, who on a daily basis provides me with a take on life's situations by utilizing his amazing talent for insulting the boobs of society. As an example,
"I have noticed, despite my advancing age, that I am getting stronger. Just a year ago I used to struggle to carry $100 dollars worth of groceries to my car, and I usually had to use a cart or have assistance carrying the groceries.
Now, just one year later I am perfectly able to carry over $150 worth of groceries to my car, without using a cart or having anyone help carry part of the load. At the rate we are going I imagine by next year I may be able to carry two or three hundred dollars worth and maybe by the end of 2024 I will work my way up single-handedly carrying $1000 worth of groceries.
I think this is a good thing as by being able to carry those groceries I probably won't have to go to the grocery store as often..... that will save me a ton of money on gasoline as its price is rising about as fast as my strength is increasing."
He should write a book.
